Griffintown is a former vibrant, working-class neighbourhood in Montréal. In 1962 the area was controversially re-zoned as “light industrial”, and since fallen into further economic decline. With plans to demolish the area and replace it with new residential and commercial buildings in constant debate, Griffintown is a neighbourhood with an identity based in the past, an aimless present, and an uncertain future.

Griffintown is an ongoing project.
